Prof. MC van Aardt

Prof. MC van Aardt obtained his MBChB at the University of Pretoria 2004. He completed his internship and community service at Helen Joseph Coronation Complex and Standerton Hospital in 2005 and 2006. In 2012 he qualifies as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the University of Pretoria and the College of medicine of South-Africa.

In 2016 he obtained his PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Gynaecological Oncology) from the University of Pretoria and he also qualified as a subspecialist in Gynaecological Oncology.

Prof. Van Aardt started at Femina Hospital in January 2013 until December 2017. Prof. Van Aardt is practicing at Mediclinic Kloof from January 2018.

In January 2023 he was promoted to adjunct professor at the University of Pretoria, where he is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

He has a keen interest in complex Gynaecological surgery, including laparoscopic surgery. Prof van Aardt is also a certified Davinci Robotic surgeon.

Mandy

Receptionist

Mandy is our receptionist and the front face of our practice. She manages the reception area, and consultation appointments and makes sure that consulting days are as smooth and stress free for our patients as possible. Mandy’s dedication to keeping the practice tidy and organized highlights her commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all who enter. Mandy skillfully accommodates patients to the fullest extent possible.

Nicci

Practice Manager

Nicci manages all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, staff, invoices, quotations, billing, orders and to make our practice paperless and keeping us up to date with technology’s demands. She also manages all theatre bookings and communication. She contributes to the practice by delivering patient services and actively participates in the development of extended services aimed at enhancing patient care. With empathy and trust she always takes the time to listen and give support to patients. We have a wonderful culture of trust and confidentiality which is something highly regarded by everyone in the team.
